The 17^th International Conference “Lubricant Market 2023”, the largest annual event in the Russian oil refining industry, was dedicated to the lubricant market in the new reality, its challenges and solutions, opportunities for both component suppliers and lubricant manufacturers. Participants were briefed on market forecasts for oils and automotive technology, as well as current requirements for various types of lubricants. Over 350 people attended the 2023 conference.

The event was organized by RPI, with the general sponsor being “LUKOIL Lubricants” Company (“LLK-International”, a 100% subsidiary of PJSC “LUKOIL”).

In total, the 17^th International Conference “Lubricant Market 2023” saw the participation of leading Russian and foreign companies from 8 countries worldwide. Approximately 88% of the conference audience was from Russia, 4% from China, 4% from CIS countries, 3% from the UAE, and 1% from other regions. About one-third of the conference participants were top-level company executives; leaders and specialists from production, technical, and scientific departments made up 46% of the audience; representatives of commercial marketing departments and supply services of industrial and transport enterprises constituted 21%. The industrial profile of delegates included representatives of Russian and foreign refineries (including refineries) - 22%; lubricant manufacturers - 23%; trading houses and dealers - 12%; lubricant consumers - 30%; research institutes, associations - 4%; others, including the media - 9%.

It is expected that in 2024, the International Conference “Lubricant Market” will once again be held in November, reaffirming its position as one of the largest industry events.
